We spend a lot of time regretting what we said. Try changing it up by being grateful we didn’t say that.
We all say what we don’t mean sometimes, as we lash out in anger or in jest. Or maybe we do mean it. In any case when the receiver of our words is hurt we may feel bad or regret the consequences from our actions. And it’s too late! The person that heard the words is forever affected even if they do forgive you.
How about try not saying anything. Practice silence in the midst of a disagreement, a potential accusation or a funny at someone else’s expense. Words carry power, use yours with love.
